Personal Training
Have you finished cancer treatment and want to maintain your fitness? It is important to work with a trainer that has specific experience working with cancer patients. A Cancer Exercise Specialist has an understanding of the treatments you completed and knows how to modify exercises based on these. These sessions are focused on general strength, endurance, and balance to help you improve and/or maintain your quality of life.

Book NowProspective Surveillance
The Prospective Surveillance Model of Care focuses on assessments prior to treatment, throughout your care, and monitoring after to decrease risk and manage severity of potential side effects.
In this model, we will meet prior to any treatment occurring to take baseline measurements of your range of motion, limb volume, balance, cardiovascular endurance, and strength. Exercises will be provided based on any impairments we find, and we will follow up intermittently during and after treatment to assess for any changes. Different exercises will be added to your home program as needed and if we find impairments that need to be addressed more quickly, we can set up regular appointments. This model of care is focused on being proactive to help you maintain your quality of life during and after treatment.
Breast Cancer Rehabilitation
Have you recently gone through or going Breast Cancer treatment and experiencing side effects? Breast Cancer rehabilitation will focus on addressing physical impairments that may be due to radiation, chemotherapy, or surgery. Some of these impairments include but are not limited to: stiffness with reaching in any direction, heaviness or fullness of the breast or arm, tightness in the abdomen, fatigue, neuropathy, balance deficits, and an overall reduction in strength/endurance.

Book NowLymphatic Massage
Are you concerned about or experiencing upper extremity or breast lymphedema or swelling? Lymphatic massage sessions focus on assessment, massage, and education to help decrease severity and impact on your life. Lymphedema commonly gives signs before it is visibly noticeable. If you notice any heaviness, fullness, or general aching in the arm or breast that is not muscle soreness it is best to get assessed by a lymphedema therapist.
Lymphedema massage has also been shown to help with breastfeeding if you are noticing engorgement and the infant is having a hard time removing milk.

Book NowSurvivorship Care
The transition to survivorship is often very daunting. Survivorship care is focused on helping you return to your prior lifestyle. Sessions include hands on care, exercise, and education to help you feel more in control.
During our first appointment together, we will review your personal goals and create a treatment plan that will focus on helping you return to these activities. You do not need to have a specific impairment to come to survivorship care. Our goal with this model is to help you return to your prior hobbies and daily activities successfully and provide more specific guidance on how to get there safely.
