No! In Virginia, you no longer need a referral to come to physical therapy. However, we are happy to work with another healthcare provider to give you the best possible treatment.
Yes, of course! Children are always welcome at appointments. We have plenty of toys to keep kids busy!
Typically, it is recommended that patients come to us once or twice a week for about 6-8 weeks. After your first session, we will decide on a plan together that we both agree on.
No, we are an out-of-network provider, which means that we do not participate with any insurance providers. We do provide Superbills for you to submit to your insurance for reimbursement.
This allows for more time with each individual patient. It gives us the best possible way to treat you and work with you to truly personalize your treatment plan.
Yes!
As mentioned above, we will provide you with a Superbill, which is an itemized receipt that you can then send to your insurance company for reimbursement. However, we do recommend contacting your insurance company before starting your sessions to see what benefits for physical therapy your provider offers.
We are not a Medicare Provider, law prohibits us from providing Medicare patients with "normally covered services". If you are a Medicare beneficiary and would like to request wellness or maintenance care at our clinic, please call us at 757-532-9804.
